Tadi Feat. DJKR - Seven Diamond Lines (12")
Vladimir Ivkovic’s Offen Music offer up hypnotic Buddhist techno prayers by Taiwan’s Tadi Yan and DJKR.
As played by Lena Willikens, ’Seven Diamond Lines’ has been a long time in the making, and finally lands with the slow, technoid version backed by the original chant recording of Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche. The version slots ideally into Offen’s style of aerobic mysticism, and the chant will surely find its place in meditation rituals.
DJ Tadi Yan explains: “This is a well know Guru Rinpoche Prayer, and has been chanted at least 1800 years. It has seven lines. Almost all the Tibetan people know this and practice it. Guru Rinpoche was like the second buddha to them also known as Padmasambhava. This was recorded in Taipei 2013 during the Ushinisha Vijiaya Puja, chanted by a very famous lama Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche.” — Boomkat
