April Masten - Not So Much to Want (LP)
$25.00
In 1985, April Masten, art historian and daughter of folknik poet and songwriter Ric Masten, self-released her sole album Not So Much to Want. The album is an early morning missive expressing the trials and tribulations of life and love as a young Californian in the mid-80s. The soft-focus dreamy mood of the album is interrupted by anti-war AOR and rebellious lyrical cries for independence. This was Reagan's California after all. A brilliant and complex document from a sun-drenched era; brighter days shining on turbulent waters.
Sealed deadstock, may have a slight storage warp, dnap.
