Bevan Gore-Langton is a legend on the West Coast, a popular lounge pianist who once played with the Ink Spots. He was also a great collector of motorbikes, curios, and vintage cast-iron frying pans (of which he has over a thousand). The Way I Feel is Bevan’s masterpiece, a collection of originals that feature his mellow piano and Rhodes style, accompanied by drum machine, acoustic guitar and his intimate whispered vocals. Imagine Lewis in the lounge of the Love Boat, in the twilight of Vancouver Island as the sun sets. This is an album best heard in the company of a loved one, by candlelight.
