My interest in musician and writer Chris Wind was piqued when I found a charming handmade cassette in my friend’s collection with an address in Huntsville, a small northern Ontario town where my grandparents lived when I was a child. It’s a beautiful blip on a map surrounded by deep forest, and it’s exciting to think that somebody was up there tinkering on synthesizers and home-recording when I was lounging lakeside with my Gramps.  

Besides being a beautiful handmade object, Sampler is worth the price of admission for the uplifting drum computer sing-along Free People. This is Participaction for adults and 808s.
