Unity is the sole release from Detroit, Michigan Afro-diasporic group Nomads. The self-released album is a gorgeous expression of pan-African discourse moving seamlessly between reggae, soul, funk, and dub. Two highlights for us are the stunning and socially conscious reggae-not-reggae cut Africa for Africans and the digital stepper Unity Dub. Highly recommended!
